Kia All-Defensive Teams, NBA Social Justice Champion announced Friday (7:30 ET, Peacock)

The NBA has announced that the 2025-26 Kia NBA All-Defensive Team will be announced on
Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET on Peacock
ahead of Game 3 of the Thunder-Spurs Western Conference Final which tips at
8:30 p.m. ET
on NBC & Peacock.
Additionally, the NBA’s Social Justice Champion Award winner will be announced during Friday’s announcement.
A global media panel of 100 voters select five players for the Kia NBA All-Defensive First Team and five players for the Kia NBA All-Defensive Second Team at any position. Players received two points for each First Team vote and one point for each Second Team vote.
Bam Adebayo, Harrison Barnes, Jaylen Brown, Tobias Harris and Larry Nance Jr. are
the five finalists
for the 2026 NBA Social Justice Champion award.
The annual award honors a current NBA player for pursuing social justice and will receive the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar trophy for advancing Abdul-Jabbar’s life mission to engage, empower and drive equality for individuals and groups who have been historically disadvantaged. The NBA Social Justice Champion will be announced during the Conference Finals of the 2026 NBA Playoffs and receive a $100,000 donation from the NBA for a non-profit organization of his choosing.
The 2025-26 Kia NBA All-Defensive Team and the NBA Social Justice Champion award will be announced tomorrow night at 7:30 PM ET on Peacock.
