Chelsea head Liam Rosenior furiously berated Arsenal players before kick-off in Wednesday’s Carabao Cup final, appearing to tell them to ‘stay in your f*****g half’ during the warm-ups.

Arsenal saw off their London rivals to book their place in the final where they will take on Manchester City or Newcastle United on Sunday 22 March.

The Blues trailed 3-2 from the first leg at Stamford Bridge three weeks ago but after recent comeback victories over West Ham United and Napoli , there was real hope they could fight their way back into the contest.

It wasn’t to be however, with Arsenal holding firm before a late Kai Havertz goal sealed a 4-2 aggregate win.

Rosenior was fired up before the game and appeared to take umbrage with Arsenal players moving onto Chelsea’s half of the pitch during the pre-match warm-ups.

With the Emirates still filling up, Sky Sports cameras picked up the Chelsea boss blasting Arsenal players or Arsenal staff, telling them: ‘Stay in your half, stay in your f*****g half.’

A clearly irritated Rosenior walks away before turning back, appearing to say: ‘Stay there’ before complaining to a member of Chelsea’s staff.

Still not happy, Rosenior is seen glaring down the end of the pitch where Arsenal players and their staff were camped.

Rosenior was a calmer figure at full-time, praising his side’s efforts after setbacks that included Pedro Neto and Reece James not being passed fit in time to feature against the Gunners.

‘We’ve had a lot to contend with the last couple of days, a couple of fitness tests this morning,’ Rosenior said.

‘Normally I name the team the day before. I named the team this afternoon when I had the full details of who was available. I have to give the players so much credit.
