Man Utd Snub Vlahovic for Sesko as Juve Seek Exit

Reports in Italy claim that Manchester United were offered the chance to sign Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus and that they have instead decided to focus their attention on RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko.

According to reports from Tuttosport , intermediaries proposed the idea of signing Vlahovic to United over the weekend, but the Premier League side have not shown any indication that they are interested in signing the Serbian.

Tuttosport describes United’s response as ‘not what was hoped for, but not different to what was expected’.

Instead, United are aiming for the signing of RB Leipzig’s Sesko after a poor season in front of goal in 2024-25 with former Serie A forwards Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee typically leading the line.

Juventus, meanwhile, are still hoping to sell Vlahovic, who has less than a year remaining on his contract, before the end of the summer transfer window. The Old Lady have already brought in Jonathan David this summer and are also hoping to bring back Randal Kolo Muani after his successful loan spell from PSG earlier this year.

As things stand, according to Tuttosport, the interest in Vlahovic from Massimiliano Allegri’s Milan is the only vaguely viable option, unless a surprise offer from elsewhere comes in.
