Raptors' Brandon Ingram undergoes surgery to address ongoing right heel pain
Brandon Ingram averaged 21.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 33.8 minutes in 77 games this season.
The Toronto Raptors announced Friday that forward Brandon Ingram underwent surgery to address his ongoing right heel pain. A heel spur was removed by Dr. Martin O’Malley at New York’s Hospital for Special Surgery. Ingram is expected to fully recover and be ready for training camp in September.
Ingram was named an All-Star for the second time last season, averaging a team-high 21.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 33.8 minutes in 77 games (all starts).
