Manchester United pair Bryan Mbeumo and Leny Yoro have responded to Paris Saint-Germain winger Ousmane Dembele claiming the Ballon d'Or following intense competition. The France star triumphed over challengers including Lamine Yamal, Vitinha, and Mohamed Salah to secure the prize and earn recognition as Europe's best male footballer.

Liverpool's Salah claimed fourth spot in the final standings. The Egyptian was crowned PFA Premier League player of the year for 2024/25 following his role in Liverpool's title triumph.

Other Premier League representatives Cole Palmer ( Chelsea ) and Gianluigi Donnarumma (Man City) placed eighth and ninth, respectively, whilst ex-Man United midfielder Scott McTominay secured 18th position.

Dembele netted 21 times and registered eight assists across 29 Ligue 1 outings for PSG during the previous campaign. He also played a crucial part as they claimed their maiden Champions League crown.

Across his 15 European appearances, he found the net eight times and contributed six assists, including two in their commanding 5-0 triumph over Inter in May's showpiece. The 28-year-old looked visibly moved whilst receiving the Ballon d'Or award on stage.

Taking to social media afterwards, he posted images alongside the trophy with a message reading: "So much joy, pride, and emotion.

"A dream come true. Thank you to everyone who has always supported me along this journey."
