Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta would not engage with any talk regarding Pep Guardiola's future at Manchester City after news broke on Monday evening that the 55-year-old will leave City after Sunday's game against Aston Villa . City take on Bournemouth in midweek and then Villa at the weekend, knowing they need wins in both of those games to still be in with a chance of claiming the Premier League title.

Anything less than a win over Bournemouth on Tuesday will see Arsenal crowned Premier League champions, and Guardiola had urged his side to take the title race to the final day of the season. However, City are set to bid farewell to Guardiola after a trophy-laden decade at the club.

The FA Cup triumph at the weekend took Guardiola's tally to 20 trophies since his arrival the Etihad Stadium, but a departure would have a huge impact on City in the future.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the win over Burnley , Arteta was quizzed about Guardiola's future and said: "Once he makes that decision then we can talk about it. Before that, nobody should do it."

The Gunners boss was asked if he'd be watching City's game against Bournemouth and said: "I just want to enjoy tonight and then tomorrow we will see what we will do.

"I don't know, what we have to do is to prepare for the Crystal Palace match in the best possible way. This is the Premier League.

"We know the quality that Andoni has done and the record that they have right now. Everything is possible."

Arsenal took a huge step towards the Premier League header thanks to a 1-0 win over Burnley through a first-half header from Kai Havertz.

It could be a landmark conclusion to the campaign for Arsenal, who appeared to have squandered their push for a first league title since Arsene Wenger's 'Invincibles' in 2003-04, following their 2-1 defeat to City on April 19.

Yet the Gunners, who have finished as league runners-up for the past three seasons, have kept a clean sheet in their last four league outings and roared back with real conviction. They now sit in prime position to shed their reputation as 'nearly men' and deliver Arteta only the second trophy of his near seven-year reign.

A league and European cup double could be within their grasp when they face Paris St Germain on May 30th. Victory in Budapest later this month would secure the club's first ever Champions League title.

Sky has upgraded its Ultimate TV and Sky Sports bundle to now include HBO Max, Netflix, Disney+, discovery+ and Hayu, as well as 135 channels and full Sky coverage of the Premier League and EFL.
