Newcastle Bid €80m for Sesko as Man Utd Join Bidding War

Benjamin Sesko has been linked with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks, and the likes of Newcastle United and Manchester United want to sign him.

According to Sky Sports Germany reporter Philipp Hinze , RB Leipzig have now received a written proposal from Newcastle worth around €80 million . The German club are now pondering whether to accept or reject the offer.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are still very much in the race to sign the player, and they have ‘made it clear’ to the German club that they are prepared to enter the bidding for the striker. Hinze claims that a bidding war could be about to start between the two clubs. Further transfer talks are planned, and it will be interesting to see where the 22-year-old ends up.

Fabrizio Romano adds that Manchester United will submit an official offer for the striker, and the player’s agent has now arrived in Germany ahead of a final decision regarding his future.

Sesko is one of the finest young attacking prospects in European football right now, and RB Leipzig will be looking to recoup as much as possible for him. The bidding war between the Premier League clubs will come as a huge boost for the Germans.
