As the Premier League season draws to a close, thoughts at Manchester United have turned to what promises to be a busy summer and Michael Carrick's first full season at the helm. United side wrap up their campaign away at Brighton on Sunday with third place and Champions League football already secured.
The game comes 48 hours after Carrick's permanent appointment as boss on a two-year deal was confirmed. He would relish nothing more than marking the occasion with one last victory on the south coast before the summer break.
Meanwhile, Bruno Fernandes has an extra incentive to shine at the Amex Stadium as he stands just one assist away from the Premier League's all-time record. Mirror Football brings you a round-up of the latest United news.

The first signing of the Carrick era is close to being completed, with Atalanta midfielder Ederson seemingly Old Trafford-bound. United have held talks over the Brazilian, with an offer of £34.5million - plus a further £4.3m in add-ons - on the table.
Atalanta, who have become accustomed to seeing their top talent leave for bigger and better things, are ready to say goodbye to the 26-year-old, who was an unused substitute in Friday's 1-1 draw with Fiorentina on Friday.
While manager Raffaele Palladino stopped short of naming United, he admitted Ederson didn't play due to an impending transfer.
He said: "Ederson out? It was a decision we agreed with the boy because there's something going on in the transfer market. The fact that such a player is being followed by such a big club should be a source of pride."
A United player had bid an emotional farewell to the club after 14 years. Sonny Aljofree, who spent the first half of the season on loan at League Two Notts County, has not figured for the United first team, although he was called up to train with the squad by Carrick following a defensive injury shortage.
It seems the 21-year-old hasn't done enough to extend his stay at the club and looks set to drop down the leagues to secure first-team football. In a farewell post on Instagram , Aljofree wrote: "After 14 years at this amazing football club, my second home, and the place I've grown from a boy to man.

"I can't thank the staff, players and everybody who has helped me enough for everything they have helped me with throughout my time. I've made brothers for life and I will always appreciate what this club have given me.
"I wish everybody at the club the absolute best. Ready to kick on and keep growing as a person and as a player. Once a red, always a red."
