Mikel Arteta makes Arsenal vow in new footage of lavish Premier League title celebrations

Deep into the night at an exclusive Mayfair restaurant, surrounded by ostentatiously priced food and drinks, Mikel Arteta made a promise to the Arsenal fans - "We're going to be champions of Europe."

The Gunners may have lifted the Premier League title, but their campaign is not over yet. They have one match left of the campaign and it just so happens to be the biggest clash in the club's history.

On Saturday, the north Londoners travel to Budapest to face the reigning champions of Europe, Paris Saint-Germain, in the Champions League final. While Arteta and his players relished their moment of joy, they have their eye on more celebrations in the capital.

An attendee at the swankey Bacchanalia Mediterranean restaurant in Central London captured a video of Arteta, microphone in hand, giving his latest passionate speech. He exclaimed: "On Saturday, we're going to be champions of Europe!"

His bold proclamation may have been a reminder to his excited stars there is one more gigantic piece of silverware up for grabs. It would have been something to stew on as players fine-dined and enjoyed the opulent beverages on display.

It's understood the majority of the drinks on offer set back customers at least £100, while there are other bottles of wine which cost as much as £56,000. However, it's unclear as to whether Arteta and his players splashed out on the posh drinks.

Should they beat PSG on Saturday, it would be no surprise if Arteta and his players return to Mayfair to enjoy another lavish celebration. Declan Rice , who was seen rapping and dancing at the party, has already made it clear Arsenal are fully focused on facing Luis Enrique's side.

The England international, when asked about this weekend's massive clash, after the celebrations, said: "I think that’s the message from the manager already.

"We just need to enjoy today, but tomorrow it’s full focus on PSG. We’ve got a massive opportunity there. We want that, you know, we want the double, we want to push for that.”

Captain Martin Odegaard, who lifted the trophy at Selhurst Park after the Gunners' 2-1 away victory over Crystal Palace , also added: "We had a great celebration on Tuesday, the vibes are unreal, everyone is so happy. But we have another big final, you know, in just a week. So we’ll wait to party for after that.

"We’re off tomorrow, and then Tuesday training, so we’ll go easy tonight I think. We’ve got to enjoy it and make sure we’re ready and go for it, and hopefully we can do it.”
