AC Milan Join Race for Man Utd Flop Hojlund

Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund is a target for Serie A clubs after a disappointing spell at Old Trafford with the Red Devils, and he has new suitors.

According to Gianluca DiMarzio , AC Milan are the latest side to show interest in the Man United flop, with the Rossoneri looking to bolster their attacking options.

“In the last few hours, in fact, a survey was conducted for Rasmus Hojlund to understand the feasibility of the operation.”

Milan want a new striker this summer with Luka Jovic and Tammy Abraham leaving the club.

Their radar has landed on Hojlund, also attracting interest from Inter Milan and Juventus.

Hojlund excelled in Serie A before a move to Manchester United for around €72 million, which has not worked out for the Dane.

Hailed as an “exceptional talent” when he first arrived, last season, he managed a measly four league goals for Man Utd as they finished in 15th place.

United will likely let him go if a good offer comes, but it remains to be seen if Milan can cough up the fee.

Like Inter and Juventus, Milan may be eyeing a loan deal, but Man Utd want to sell him permanently. The Italian giants baulked at Chelsea’s price for Nicolas Jackson.

Perhaps Hojlund could rediscover his best form in Serie A after losing confidence at United. The move to the Red Devils came too early for the budding talent.

After missing out on Viktor Gyokeres and Liam Delap, the Red Devils should be considering a deal for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

The Nigerian international is the 20-league goal striker Man Utd sorely lack in their ranks.

Galatasaray are trying to close a deal for the 26-year-old, but United need to muscle their way into the race.

He would be a better pick-up than £100 million-rated Jackson, whom United were also linked to recently.
