As many as eight players are expected to be put up for sale by Arsenal. This fire-sale will go some way to funding moves for Arteta's top transfer targets.
Fabio Vieira and Reiss Nelson, who spent the season on loan at Hamburg and Brentford respectively, are two stars expected to be sold. BBC Sport have also claimed the club will listen to offers for the likes of Christian Norgaard, Ben White and Ethan Nwaneri.
Moreover, Leandro Trossard , who started the Champions League final, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus may also be sacrificed this summer, as a result of the trio entering the final years of their contracts in July.
If the aforementioned list of Arsenal stars are sold for sizeable sums, many of the funds may be channelled into Arteta's list of transfer targets. Alongside Rogers and Alvarez, the BBC say Bournemouth's Eli Junior Kroupi is an alternative target.

Paul Scholes believes Rashford would be perfect for Arsenal. The England international is desperate to sign permanently for Barcelona , but the Catalans have signed Anthony Gordon and are also linked with Alvarez.
It's widely believed Rashford is not planning on playing for United this season, despite still being contracted to the Reds. If a move to Barcelona does not materialise, Scholes believes Arsenal, who have been linked with the Three Lions star, would be the perfect destination.
"Barcelona have a deal in place to buy him but I think they’re trying to get him cheaper,” Scholes said on The Good, The Bad & The Football podcast.
"That would be a great move, a great move for both parties. I think Arsenal would be a great move for him and the club.”
