Arsenal are set for a notable change to their kit after being crowned Premier League champions. The Gunners clinched the title on Tuesday night after Manchester City failed to take all three points against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.
City required a win over the Cherries to keep their title hopes alive, but could only salvage a 1-1 draw on the south coast, confirming Arsenal as Premier League champions in the process.
The Gunners have sealed the title with one fixture still remaining, with a trip to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace on the final day of the season on Sunday.
As a result of Arsenal's title triumph , a change to their kit will be introduced from next season.
The Gunners will be entitled to wear the gold Premier League badge on the sleeve of their shirts from next term, marking a first in the club's history.
The Premier League introduced the tradition from the 2015/16 season, meaning next campaign will be the first occasion Arsenal sport the coveted gold badges on their kit, courtesy of their championship victory.
Arsenal shared a video on X following their title confirmation, featuring a message from Arsene Wenger , the last manager to deliver the league title to north London.
“You did it. Champions go on, when others stop,” Wenger said. “This is your time. Now, go on and enjoy every moment.”
