We are now into the final few hours of the summer transfer market. It has been a good window for Arsenal with sporting director Andrea Berta completing a number of standout transfers for the club so far.

Having signed Martin Zubimendi and Viktor Gyokeres in big-money moves from Real Sociedad and Sporting CP respectively, the Gunners then completed the £67.5million signing of Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace just over a week ago. Kepa Arrizabalaga, Cristhian Mosquera, Christian Norgaard and Noni Madueke have also made the move to the Emirates Stadium this summer.

Arsenal don't appear to be done just there in terms of incomings as we edge closer to Monday's 7pm transfer deadline . The Gunners also have outgoings to sanction as Berta looks to give Mikel Arteta the best squad possible to attack the new season.

Best case scenario

Hincapie has excelled during his time in the Bundesliga and he gives Arteta options at the back as he can play at left-back as well as his usual centre-back role. As Arsenal did the vast majority of their business ahead of the new season, the north London club are not facing a late transfer dash as some clubs are prior to the 7pm cut-off point.

When it comes to outgoings, Berta will be hoping to get a number of players off the books over the coming hours. Jakub Kiwior is one of those with a move to Porto in the offing.

He will be joined at Hamburg by Gunners teammate Fabio Vieira . The attacking midfielder, who has interested Stuttgart this transfer window, will join on loan with an option to buy.

Reiss Nelson's time at the Emirates Stadium could also come to an end later today. Fulham and Crystal Palace have been linked with the attacker this summer and a permanent move would be best for Arsenal as he quite clearly does not have a long-term future in north London.

Finally, Arsenal will be hoping to complete a permanent exit for Oleksandr Zinchenko , who has dropped down the pecking order over the past year due to the signing of Riccardo Calafiori and emergence of Myles Lewis-Skelly. After making big strides in terms of incomings this summer, Arsenal will be looking to do likewise when it comes to outgoings in what remains of the transfer window.

Worst case scenario

The worst case scenario for Arsenal on the final day is that they don't move the players on that they want to. The Gunners have done very well reshaping their squad in recent seasons but they still have work to do to get it into perfect shape for Arteta.

While Kiwior not going wouldn't be the worst thing in the world for Arsenal as he can provide cover at centre-back, the club really do need to shift Lokonga, Vieira, Nelson and Zinchenko on a permanent basis as they are so far down the pecking order. Zinchenko, just like Lokonga, is in the final year of his Arsenal deal and this is the time where they need to part with him for good or else there is the possibility of him leaving for nothing in 2026.
