Arsenal have clinched the Premier League title and the Champions League could follow on Saturday. After that, however, they will see their attention turn to the summer transfer window.

Even the best teams need refreshing from time to time. In the Gunners' case, there is still room for improvement after the front-line was found wanting at times during the run-in.

A couple of departures in other areas of the pitch have already been confirmed, with Jakub Kiwior and Karl Hein leaving North London. There have been suggestions more sales could be needed to balance the books, though, meaning senior stars could follow the loanees in making way.

What might this mean for Arsenal's attack, though? We have taken a closer look at the potential ins and outs.

There have been questions in the No.9 role this season despite the title win. Viktor Gyokeres has blown hot and cold since his arrival from Sporting CP last summer while Kai Havertz's availability has been a concern after some injury setbacks.

Julian Alvarez continues to be linked, though the Gunners may be priced out of a move for the Argentine. Atletico Madrid paid more than £80m to sign him in 2024 and are expected to hold out for a nine-figure sum.

The priority now could be to sign a young and hungry striker who is prepared to rotate and able to play in a withdrawn role as well as leading the line, as is the case with Havertz. Bournemouth star Eli Junior Kroupi appears to fit the bill but is unlikely to come cheap, with the Cherries reportedly after as much at £80million, though this would still be less than the expected fee for Alvarez.

A new striker could mean an exit for Gabriel Jesus , despite his goal at Crystal Palace on the final day of the season. Out on the left, meanwhile, questions remain over the longer-term future of Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard, with at least one likely to leave this summer.

With Paris Saint-Germain seemingly reluctant to entertain offers for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia , a move for the Georgian's club team-mate Bradley Barcola might be explored. Perhaps more likely is a swoop for Newcastle and England star Anthony Gordon , available for around £75m but also eyed by Bayern Munich.

There's no need for any dramatic changes on the right, though. Bukayo Saka showed in the closing weeks of the season why he remains so valuable to the club, while Noni Madueke should only improve after a first full season playing back-up on either flank.

Further back, Arsenal may need to raise funds if they are to return for Sandro Tonali following January links. However, there's a chance that sales for attacking players - Ethan Nwaneri has been linked with an exit as well as Martinelli and Trossard - allow the boss to recruit in deeper roles.

Following the final game of the season, manager Mikel Arteta indicated there was no plan to stop at only one title. "What I said to the boys is that this shirt now represents something else," he said.

"We are the champions and that brings a lot of confidence and a different kind of presence and energy to it. But as well another kind of responsibility as well. My job now, and everybody at the club, is going to be to live those standards now and achieve more and more because I think we are capable of winning."
