Jarrod Bowen risks upsetting wife Dani Dyer if he leaves West Ham for a club outside London. The Hammers forward faces a huge dilemma about his future following the club's relegation to the Championship.
Bowen wants to continue playing at the highest possible level, which would enhance his chances of playing for England again after missing out on a place in Thomas Tuchel's World Cup squad. However, given his family ties to the Hammers, leaving the club would be a huge wrench.
Wife Dani is the daughter of actor and huge West Ham fan Danny Dyer, who has professed his "love" for his son-in-law and even joins in with an X-rated chant about him. Manchester United , Liverpool and Tottenham are among the clubs to have been linked with a move for Bowen.
However, a move to the north-west would affect Dani as the family would have to relocate from their Essex home, not far from where her parents live. Bowen and Dani have twin girls and got married in 2025.

A source told The Sun that the Hammers' relegation could have a "huge impact" on Dani and referenced Bowen's desire to get back in the England squad ahead of the Euro 2028, which will be held in the UK.
The source added: "Jarrod has been heavily linked with a move elsewhere, and he is keen to keep testing himself at the very top. But this could be devastating for Dani, because they might have to relocate."
A move closer to home to a club like Spurs would avoid the need to move house, although it may not sit well with Dani's father, who saw their London rivals stay up at West Ham's expense.
The source said: "Danny is absolutely devastated about his side dropping down to the Championship, and it could have major repercussions for the Dyers."

They added that Danny would be "gutted" if Bowen left because he knows the Hammers would have a greater chance of bouncing straight back with the 29-year-old in the side. Since relegation, Bowen has issued a public apology to fans but stopped short of committing his future to the club he is contracted to until 2030.
He wrote on Instagram : "It's hard to post something like this when all you’re feeling is embarrassment and pain. I could write loads trying to explain where it all went wrong this season, but honestly what you deserve from me is an apology.
"Winning that trophy [the Conference League] in Prague was the best night of my career. Sunday was the worst. We just weren't good enough. Simple as that. And that's why the season ended the way it did."

Bowen added: "To the fans, you didn't let us down once. The support home and away never changed, even when things weren't good enough from us on the pitch. We should have given you more. You deserved more.
"One thing I know about this club is that it has the desire and fight to bounce back from this. This club belongs in the Premier League and deserves to be back there as soon as possible."
