New information has now emerged regarding Rogers and how the 23-year-old perceives his prospects ahead of the summer window. According to The Athletic , Rogers is not actively seeking an exit from Villa this summer, but there appears to be an acknowledgement that the present moment might represent an opportune time for a new challenge in the player's eyes.
Liverpool , Manchester United , Chelsea and Manchester City are also mentioned as having an interest in Rogers, although it appears Arsenal are the frontrunners at this stage. United could hold an advantage with Rogers having plaued under manager Michael Carrick during his time at Boro, while the forward left City in 2023 to pursue regular first-team football.
Chelsea are said to view Rogers as an ideal signing, but Liverpool may not have a move for the Villa star high on their priorities this summer due to other areas of the squad being more pressing. The report further suggests that Villa could seek as much as £100million for Rogers this summer, referencing the identical sum the club secured for Jack Grealish when he left for Manchester City in summer 2021.

Rogers isn't the only player catching Arsenal's eye this summer, with Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi featuring on their list of potential recruits. Kroupi delivered an outstanding maiden full campaign at Bournemouth last term, netting 13 goals in the top flight and is also anticipated to command a substantial fee should he depart the Cherries this summer.
Beyond attacking reinforcements, Arsenal are also keen on bolstering their midfield and full-back positions ahead of defending their Premier League crown.
