Napoli Nears €18m Deal for Girona Star Guiterez

Napoli have reached advanced talks in sealing the signing of Girona full-back Miguel Guiterez.
CalcioNapoli1926 reports that the Azzurri have reached an agreement for the La Liga outfits for a transfer fee of €18m. The Partenopei remain in talks with the entourage of the 24-year-old Spanish international in order to finalize the details of the contract as their remains a small distance in regards to bonuses included within the transfer.
Since joining Girona after departing his childhood club Real Madrid in 2022, Guiterez made a total of 98 appearances for the Spanish side, emerging as a vital asset within the back-line.
Given his strong technical ability and a great deal of pace, Napoli is keen on providing additional depth to the full-back position with Mathias Olivera possibly playing a central defender role next season.
