Arsenal stars David Raya and Ethan Nwaneri have selected new squad numbers after the club released their new home kit for the 2025/26 season.
The Spain international goalkeeper, who joined from Brentford two years ago, initially on loan, has firmly cemented his status as the club’s No.1 and his status will be reflected by his new number.
Nwaneri, meanwhile, will wear No.22 next term having spent the current campaign with No.53 on his back.
The adidas designed strip which ‘uses the human heart as a creative device to take supporters on a journey to the source of life behind the badge’ has gone down well with players and fans alike.
‘I love our new kit, it looks fresh – I’m excited to wear this in front of our incredible supporters,’ said Hale End Academy graduate Myles Lewis-Skelly who, like Nwaneri, has enjoyed a stellar breakthrough season.
‘Their energy lifts us and when we step out in the shirt, we feel it more than ever.’
Kim Little, who has starred in Arsenal Women’s run to the Champions League final, added: ‘Supporters are at the heart of everything we do, and this new kit connects to that so deeply. We carry our supporters with us, and they carry us with them, no matter where they are. They push us forward.”

Arsenal’s men’s team will wear the strip for the first time against Newcastle on Sunday when they will hope to secure the point that would guarantee a third straight season of Champions League football.
‘Our men’s, women’s and youth teams will take to the pitch in a kit that fuses cutting-edge performance materials and apparel technology alongside an emblem representing our past, with one of the most iconic crests in our history being integrated into the design,’ read a statement on Arsenal’s website.
