Daniel Farke is hoping to have Pascal Struijk back for Leeds United ’s clash with West Ham but confirmed his side will be without midfielder Anton Stack on Sunday.

Struijk missed the 1-0 win over Brighton on Sunday with a hip injury but has returned to training ahead of the final game of the season.

Stach, meanwhile, was forced off in the second half last weekend with a foot injury and is set to miss the trip to London to face relegation-threatened West Ham.

Elsewhere, Jayden Bogle could make his return, but Leeds remain without several first-team players after a torrid run of luck with injuries.

‘I can confirm that Ilia Gruev is still out, that Gabi Gudmundsson is still out, that Noah Okafor is still out,’ Farke told reporters in his pre-match press conference.

‘We have Pascal Struijk back in training so let’s see how his body reacts. Hopefully he is available.

‘Also, Jayden Bogle is back in training. Could be that he is perhaps available. We have to wait right now how his body reacts to this load.

‘Obviously, with Anton [Stach], a bit mixed news. So bad news that he is not available for this game. Good news is it is not a major injury. He just needs to be stitched anyhow.

‘And if the game would be next Wednesday or Thursday, he would be available. So it is not a major injury.

‘Just for this game, it is not possible. He will definitely miss this game.’

Farke continued: ‘Also, Sean Longstaff is out. He had a hernia surgery. Not available for this game. So of course, a bit tricky still but we try to find some good solutions.

‘In the last game against Brighton, we found a way to win this game. And, yeah, we will try to do more or less similar also on Sunday.’

Leeds are unbeaten in their last eight league games and could end the season as high as 11th with a win on Sunday.

West Ham, meanwhile, need to beat Leeds and hope Everton can prevail against Tottenham to pull off an unlikely final-day escape from relegation.
