Reports: Nuggets opt for assets, trade No. 26 to Spurs
Tarris Reed Jr., interviewed during the 2026 NBA Draft Combine, has been selected at No. 26 overall by Denver, but is reportedly headed to San Antonio.

With the Nuggets scheduled to select toward the end of the First Round at Tuesday’s
NBA Draft
, Denver opted for additional assets, reportedly dealing the No. 26 pick to the Spurs for No. 35 overall and a pair of future second-round selections.

Nuggets receive:
No. 35 overall (via Denver)
2028 Second-Round pick (via Minneosta)
2031 Second-Round pick (via Sacramento)
The San Antonio Spurs are trading the No. 35 pick in the second round of the 2026 NBA Draft, a 2031 Sacramento Kings second-round pick, and a 2028 Minnesota Timberwolves second-round pick to the Denver Nuggets for Tarris Reed Jr.
