Six cities, including New York, to host soccer at Los Angeles 2028 Games

S ix cities in the United States have been named as hosts for the Olympic soccer tournament at the Los Angeles 2028 Games.

The group stage matches will be held in New York; Columbus, Ohio; Nashville, Tennessee; St. Louis, Missouri; as well as San Diego and San Jose in California, the organizers of the upcoming Summer Games announced Tuesday.

Reynold Hoover, CEO of LA 2028, told International Olympic Committee members that the Games will be played in "existing world-class MLS stadiums".

The Rose Bowl in Pasadena was previously confirmed to host knockout stage and medal round matches, hosting the championship final, as was the case in the 1994 World Cup.
