Tottenham hit by new injury worry as Micky van de Ven misses training
Concern for Spurs ahead of a nightmare run of games
Tottenham have been handed a new injury concern after Micky van de Ven missed training ahead of their Champions League clash with Eintracht Frankfurt.
Van de Ven did not train with the squad on Tuesday. Thomas Frank is due to provide an update on his fitness when he holds his press conference in Germany on Tuesday evening.
Any injury issue for Van de Ven would be a major worry for Spurs , who need to beat Frankfurt on Wednesday to secure a top-eight finish and automatic qualification to the knockout stage of the Champions League.
Spurs then face a nightmare run of games in February against Manchester City , Manchester United , Newcastle and Arsenal .
In better news, Joao Palhinha is expected to be available against Frankfurt.

Palhinha has missed Spurs’ last three games in all competitions with a knock suffered in training.
The midfielder was close to making the squad for Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Burnley but looks set to travel with the squad to Germany.
Cristian Romero also trained on Tuesday after being substituted as precautions at the weekend.
Romero came off in the closing stages against Burnley and was crouched at the side of the pitch at Turf Moor.
After the game, Frank downplayed fears he was injured and said he had suffered from cramp.
Romero now looks set to be available for selection as Spurs round off the league phase of their Champions League campaign.
Pape Matar Sarr also trained on Tuesday. The midfielder did not travel to Burnley after returning from the Africa Cup of Nations late last week.
Spurs are already without long-term absentees James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, Rodrigo Bentancur, Mohammed Kudus, Lucas Bergvall, Ben Davies and Richarlison.
Yves Bissouma, Conor Gallagher, Radu Dragusin and Mathys Tel are all ineligible and will stay at Hotspur Way.
