The 2025/26 EFL season reaches its climax this weekend as six clubs battle it out for promotion. Over the Bank Holiday weekend, the remaining sides from the Championship, League One and League Two will go head-to-head at Wembley Stadium in their respective EFL play-off finals.
In the Championship, Hull and Southampton secured second-leg victories to clinch their spots in the final, however the Spygate scandal has resulted in Saints being thrown out of the play-offs. As a result, Middlesbrough will now take on Hull at Wembley for a coveted Premier League place.
League One sides Bolton and Stockport kept clean sheets across both semi-final legs as they progressed to the final round, while League Two’s Salford and Notts County scraped through with narrow victories. Last-minute tickets are still available for each play-off final, but for those preferring to watch at home, all three games will be broadcast live on one TV channel .

Sky has upgraded its Ultimate TV and Sky Sports bundle to now include HBO Max, Netflix, Disney+, discovery+ and Hayu, as well as 135 channels and full Sky coverage of the Premier League and EFL.
All three EFL play-off finals across the Championship, League One and League Two will be shown live on Sky Sports. The broadcaster has confirmed it will air the Championship and League One final on both Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football, while the League Two final will be exclusively on Sky Sports Football.
These channels are accessible via Sky TV packages such as the £44 Ultimate TV and Sky Sports bundle , which delivers full Sky Sports coverage across nine dedicated channels. It also includes more than 135 channels and free subscriptions to Netflix, HBO Max and Disney+.
One thing to bear in mind is that customers must sign up to a 24-month contract to secure this deal, though this grants subscribers access to more than 1,000 EFL and Premier League matches across the 2026/27 and 2027/28 seasons. Those already on an existing Sky package can add Sky Sports channels from £20 per month.

While they can vary from day to day, prices generally exceed those of standard match tickets, though they come with additional perks including 'premium' seating and complimentary food and beverage options with certain packages. Tickets for the Championship play-off final currently start at £199 per person, with the League One play-off final starting at £125 per person.
League Two play-off final tickets are the most affordable option, starting at £75 per person. Supporters can select individual tickets or opt for a private box, with certain packages also granting access to exclusive hospitality zones, complimentary matchday programmes and host service.
