Arsenal already have up to 10 players firmly on their radar for this summer's transfer window. The Gunners are set for a hectic few months in the market as they gear up for next season, where they will be defending the Premier League title.

Mikel Arteta and his squad will also be looking to recover from their defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final, having been beaten in a nail-biting penalty shootout.

Focus will now shift to the summer transfer window, where Arsenal are expected to enter the market for reinforcements as they bid to claim silverware once more.

Where Arsenal will ultimately bolster their squad this summer remains unclear, though a new midfielder, winger and possibly a striker are viewed as the most pressing needs.

The Daily Mail has offered a fresh update on Arsenal's transfer strategy for this summer, detailing players who could be on the Gunners' radar.

The report suggests that Arsenal will attempt to pip Manchester United to the signing of two players this summer, including West Ham midfielder Mateus Fernandes.

Leicester City prospect Jeremy Monga has also emerged as a potential target for Arsenal this summer, with United also said to be keen on signing the talented 16-year-old.

They aren't the only players being touted for a move to Arsenal, however, with interest also reported in Newcastle United pair Sandro Tonali and Tino Livramento. While it has been reported that both players could depart St James' Park, it would require considerable sums to lure either of the duo to the Emirates Stadium.

Aston Villa and England star Morgan Rogers is also a known target for Arsenal, who is thought to be valued at around £80million.

Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi, who netted 13 goals in his full debut season in the Premier League, is also on Arsenal's radar, though the expectation is that he will stay at the Vitality Stadium unless a significant bid is tabled.

Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez is another name on Arsenal's wishlist, but Barcelona are said to be the forward's preferred destination, with PSG also keeping a close eye on his situation.

It has further been suggested that Marcus Rashford could be of interest to Arsenal should the forward not join Barcelona on a permanent deal following his loan from Manchester United.

Brentford striker Igor Thiago, who scored 22 goals for the Bees in the Premier League last season, is also said to be admired by the Gunners.

Real Madrid youngster Victor Valdepenas has additionally been mentioned as a potential option for Arsenal this summer, though whether the La Liga giants would be willing to allow the 19-year-old defender to depart remains to be seen.

Arsenal could wrap up at least one piece of transfer business relatively early this summer, with Piero Hincapie widely expected to complete a permanent move to the Gunners for £45million following his loan spell from Bayer Leverkusen.

However, reports have emerged suggesting Barcelona are eyeing up the defender, who received a call-up to the Ecuador squad for this summer's World Cup on Monday.
