The Bulls, with a fresh front office repositioning the roster, have reportedly opted to retain a frontcourt piece.

Per ESPN’s Shams Charania, Zach Collins

will return to Chicago

on a two-year, $17 million extension that keeps him in Chicago through the 2027-28 season.

Originally acquired in a three-team deal at the 2025 trade deadline, Collins was limited to 10 games last season by toe surgery. He averaged 9.7 points and 5.6 rebounds in 18.4 minutes off the bench as the Bulls opened the season 6-4.
