ESPN reported Tuesday
that 3-point marksman Luke Kennard has agreed to sign with Phoenix on a two-year deal for $13 million.
ESPN also reported that the second year of the deal is a player option. The Associated Press also reported on the Kennard signing.

Kennard split last season between the Lakers and the Hawks, averaging 21.6 minutes and 8.4 points per game on 53.3% shooting. He shot 47.8% on 3-pointers last season, the best mark in the league.
The Lakers
acquired Kennard from Atlanta
at the trade deadline in exchange for Gabe Vincent and a 2nd-round Draft pick. Kennard, originally drafted by the Pistons, is a career 46.6 percent shooter from the field, and he’s managed a 44.2% mark on 3-pointers.
The 30-year-old has played for five teams in his NBA career, and he’s averaged 1.9 made 3-pointers per game in 538 career games. Kennard has shot 40% or better from 3 in every season since 2019-20, when he shot 39.9% from long range.
He’s led the league in 3-point percentage three times, shooting 44.9% in 2021-22, 49.4% in 2022-23 and 47.8% in 2025-26.
